Our caring staff is dedicated to meeting your dental and health care needs. Together we have many years of experience and continue to add to our knowledge with continuing education in areas of dental and holistic health care.
Dr. George W. (Bill) Edwards
Dr. Edwards has over 40 years experience in dentistry, with the last 20 years specializing in dentistry relating to whole body care.
Dr. Bill graduated from The University of Louisville in 1966. He served in the USPHS providing dental care to the U.S. Coastguard and Merchant Marines.
Dr. David W. Edwards
Dr. David is a Sanford Native. He graduated from Seminole High School. Dr. David received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida. We are also very proud of him receiving his accreditation from the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology).
Karen - Treatment Coordinator/Dental Hygienist
Karen has developed and shared her interest in holistic dentistry with Dr. George W. Edwards for more than 25 years. She is responsible for, and very proud of the progress we have made in developing our holistic practice. Karen will introduce you to our office. She will discuss and find ways to address your dental concerns. This process, using your input, will help you find the treatment you feel most appropriate for your concerns. This is the person to ask questions of; she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having been a long time partner, Karen is capable of performing many tasks in the office. You may see her in the treatment room as well.
Terra - Dental Hygienist
Terra is a Florida native. She graduated from Lake Brantley High School and received her R.D.H. from Santa Fe College in Gainesville. Terra has been practicing hygiene for over 10 years. Terra has gone through some personal health struggles that led her to the holistic field more than 10 years ago.
Terra will help you achieve a level of home care maintenance that will improve your health. There is a strong connection to oral health conditions and a healthy heart and diabetes. Terra will share her knowlege and use our state of the art equipment to help you achieve and maintain a healthy mouth.
Dana Wickman- Dental Assistant
Dana is the clinical specialist that insures your treatment will go smoothly. She will be close by during all of the treatments and care you receive in our office and will see that your visits will be timely and correctly recorded. She holds numerous certificates of excellence and was the director of the Americare Dental Assisting School. She brings a wealth of information and technical skill to our holistic dental office.
More importantly, Dana takes care of people in a way that engenders the feeling being in good hands and that you will have a good outcome. She is skilled in communciating to both patients, staff, and doctors. Her valuable insights as to treatments and special concerns will help you in making decisions as to the care you receive. She is passionate about her work and caring for those around her.
Ja’Monique Long- Office Manager
Ja’ started in dentistry in 1987 as a Certified Dental Assistant in Orthodontics. She has expanded her knowledge of dentistry over the past 22 years. Your first contact with our office will most likely be with her. You will find Ja’ to be quite helpful in scheduling appointments, explanation of appointments, fee associated with appointments and basic insurance questions.
